A 25-year-old Abuja-based classical, jazz, RnB, and soul singer, Ifunanya Nwangene popularly known by her stage name Nanyah, has reportedly passed away after bitten by a snake at her Abuja residence in the early hours of the morning.
Information gathered indicated Nanyah had reportedly made frantic efforts to save her life after the incident, rushing herself to two different hospitals for urgent medical attention.
However, she was said to have been turned away or left untreated due to the unavailability of anti-venom at the facilities she visited.
According to reports, this was not the first time a snake had been sighted in or around the late singer’s residence.
Following news of her demise, reactions have trail on social media, with some Nigerians expressing shock and grief, while others speculated about supernatural causes insisting two snakes at same time is not a coincidence.
