The emergency response crews in Newton has responded an emergency call over a child stuck in a hole. When they arrived, they found a 15-year-old with just his finger tips visible.
Newton Fire/EMS says the boy was sledding with a friend who told a neighbor to call 911. The boy was rescued and is in stable condition.
In advice, the crew said ” if possible you should always have someone with you while sledding in case of an emergency like this one”
